1. The owner Independence Audit
(Entry engagement – typically 1 week - Fixed Price $1495 + GST)
We start by popping the hood & getting the full picture of how your business really works now – profit, cash flow, capacity, and how much it relies on you personally.
What we do:
- Review key financials and job data.
- Map out where your time is actually going as the owner.
- Pressure-test your current workflow and decision points.
- Identify the biggest profit leaks, time drains and dependency risks.
· The Output: A clear report on the top 3–5 issues costing you money and trapping you in the day-to-day, and holding down business value.
· The Goal: Certainty. You will know exactly where you stand - and where the leverage is - before we build anything.
This is a standalone, fixed‑scope diagnostic so you get value and clarity even if you stop here.
2. The Blueprint
You’re thinking about the future — not just the day-to-day
(Strategic roadmap – typically 3-4 weeks Fixed Price $5k + GST)
Once we know the problems, we design the solution. This is not a generic plan; it's your roadmap to independence: a customised, practical plan to get you from today to a business that can run without you and at maximum value.
What we do: define exactly what "Independence" looks like for you (hours, role, income, exit timing) and design the org chart and systems needed to get there.
The Output: A visual roadmap broken into readily doable 90-day execution sprints for the next 12–24 months.
The Goal: Clarity. You will see exactly how to get from "Chaos" to "Chairman."
This is where we agree the high‑level 12‑month+ plan, including the first 90‑day Foundation and what full independence will require.
3. 90 Day Foundation
First Block of the 12-month program)
The first 90 days are all about creating relief and stability so you can think and lead again. It’s the opening block of the OIM, but also has clear standalone outcomes.
Focus: Removing you from low-value decisions, fixing immediate profit leaks, and stabilizing cash flow / profit.
How it works: We agree on the 90-day plan, your team executes, and I guide the process to ensure it works & sticks.
The Goal: Relief. By day 90, the pressure valve is released, hours freed, cashflow improved, and you’ve got the headspace to look ahead instead of just getting through the week.
By the end of the Foundation, you'll feel more in control, clearer on what’s working, and ready to decide how fast you want to move through the rest of the Method.
4. Build True independence
Deep implementation 12 - 24 months
Once the foundation is in place, we move into deeper work to build a business that can operate and grow without you at the centre. This is still delivered in 90‑day chunks but designed as a minimum 12‑month journey, with some businesses needing 18–24+ months depending on complexity and goals.
Possible focus areas (customised per business):
- Building a leadership and decision‑making structure so you’re no longer the default answer to everything
- Systemising core processes (pricing, estimating, scheduling, job management, cash flow) to a standard others can follow
- Strengthening margins and capacity so the business is more robust and more attractive to buyers or successors

Can you work with my existing accountant/bookkeeper?

Can I upgrade later?
Absolutely - Yes. If you start with a smaller package and want to go deeper, you can upgrade anytime and we’ll credit your initial investment. Why will my business be worth more if I step back as the "Chairman"?
Owner-dependent businesses often sell for low multiples because they represent a high risk to buyers and is often the first area that buyers and brokers discount on. By shifting to a Chairman model, you prove the business has "Transferable Value," which can increase your valuation multiple by 3 to 5x or more at exit.
Do I need a full exit plan if I'm not looking to sell anytime soon?
The best exit strategies start at minimum 3 to 5 years before you intend to leave. Early planning and implementation allows you to strategically reduce costs, drive revenue & profit growth, and document processes—all of which maximize the final price you command when you are ready to "push the button". it also allows you to build maximum wealth, take time out and have a business that wraps around your life.
